Arvind Fashions, a prominent retailer, has reported a mixed set of results for the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27. On Tuesday, July 21, the company announced its quarterly earnings, which revealed a 23.8% year-on-year decline in net profit to Rs 9.6 crore.
However, the company's revenue witnessed a 15.5% increase to Rs 1,279 crore for the quarter ended on June 30. This growth can be attributed to the company's business operations.
Looking at the company's financial performance, the EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) rose 19.9% to Rs 160 crore in Q1 FY27 compared to Rs 133 crore in the same period last year.
The EBITDA margin also improved to 12.5% from 12% in the previous quarter. Despite the decline in net profit, the company's marketing and operations seem to be on the right track.
Now, the question remains: what's the outlook for the next quarter? The company's financial performance will be closely watched, and the market will be eager to see if the company can bounce back from this decline.
