Samsung has unveiled the Exynos 2600, its latest flagship mobile chipset and the world’s first 2nm processor.
As a result, Samsung positions itself as an early leader in next-generation semiconductor manufacturing.
Moreover, the chip uses Samsung Foundry’s advanced Gate-All-Around technology, marking a clear move beyond 3nm designs.
Samsung states that the Exynos 2600 delivers stronger AI and gaming performance through tightly integrated CPU, GPU, and NPU units.

However, the company has not confirmed the first device to feature the new chipset.
Still, industry reports suggest the Exynos 2600 may debut in the Galaxy S26 series next year.
If that happens, it would signal Samsung’s renewed push for Exynos-powered flagship devices.

Exynos 2600 Architecture and Performance Breakdown

At its core, the Exynos 2600 relies on Samsung’s 2nm GAA process and features a proprietary eight-core CPU.
Notably, the chipset includes one high-performance C1-Ultra core clocked at 3.8GHz.
In addition, three C1-Pro performance cores operate at 3.25GHz.
Meanwhile, four additional C1-Pro efficiency cores run at 2.75GHz.

Beyond raw performance, the chipset supports LPDDR5x RAM and fast UFS 4.1 storage standards.
On the graphics side, the Xclipse 960 deca-core GPU delivers visuals based on ARMv9.3 architecture.
At the same time, a 32K MAC NPU handles AI processing for advanced on-device intelligence.

According to Samsung, CPU performance improves by up to 39% with better power efficiency.
Meanwhile, generative AI performance jumps by 113% compared to the Exynos 2500.
Additionally, ray-tracing performance increases by up to 50% for advanced mobile gaming experiences.

For gamers, Exynos Neural Super Sampling further boosts visual performance.
To address heat, Samsung introduces Heat Pass Block technology to improve thermal dissipation.
As a result, the system behaves similarly to an integrated heat sink.

On the imaging front, the Exynos 2600 supports single camera sensors up to 320MP.
It also enables dual-camera configurations using 64MP and 32MP sensors.
Finally, the chipset supports single-camera video recording at 108MP resolution and 30 frames per second.
